"I never told my ambitions and efforts and failures to anyone. I listened unmoved to the sneers and ridicule of various relatives who thought my scribbling rank folly and waste of time. That never disturbed me at all. Down, deep down, under all discouragement and rebuff I knew I would arrive someday." - Lucy Maud Montgomery

When You're Little...
...you don't think about debt
You don't think about jobs
You don't think about loans
You don't think about boys
You dont think about him
Or what he is doing
Or who he is with
You don't wonder if you'll ever talk again
You don't wander out and try to pretend...
When you're little
You like how the sun touches your skin
And how the grass feels under your feet
Your tummy is full and you play just a bit more
Before going to sleep and start all over again tomorrow...
It will never end

Little Anthony and the Imperials - Tears On My Pillow (1958)
I heard this song today coming from the living room TV while I was busy writing in my bedroom. It made pause for a bit and I didn't even notice I stopped until it was over. It's such a beautiful tune.

Yes, Mrs. Patmore! Coming, Mrs. Patmore!
Downton Abbey : The Complete Scripts: Season 1
I want this. Badly. All the scripts from season one plus notes from the author.
"Ironing newspapers is a cliché in a way because everyone knows it was done; but on the other hand a lot of people still think they were ironed to make them flat, as opposed to being ironed so that the ink would dry. It is sometimes quite fun to correct these common misapprehensions"
Reading this, I mean really, you can feel your brain getting bigger.
Also, I would like to write a spec script for kicks.
